This tea is from a 100 year old plantation, in the state of Assam, located in northeastern India. Known as the world’s largest tea growing region. Processed during the summer months, this tea has broad leaves of the assamica variety.  This is an ideal breakfast tea, with a malty, bright, and low astringency flavor.
