Our Charity of the Month for January: Friends of the Children

Anyone who has met me knows that I am a kid advocate through and through. It is an incredible privilege to be able to dedicate 2020 to our youth. Our first month’s program, Friends of the Children, is a very special foundation. We all know that what children need is consistency and follow through, and this is the core concept of this program. The mentors (friends) provide our most vulnerable children a stable relationship with a professional mentor for 12.5 years, from kindergarten to high school graduation, no matter what! If you want to learn about this program, visit Friends of the Children on Facebook or the Friends of the Children website.

Tea of the Month for January : Snow Buds

This month’s tea is perfect to cleanse your palate after indulging this past holiday season. This white tea produces a smooth, clean cup of tea that leaves a light sweetness in the mouth.  I personally love to drink my white tea iced, because the flavor profile is thirst quenching and energizing.  If you happen to be near the store, stop on by and let us pour you a sample of Snow Buds.  This high mountain Chinese beauty is a crowd-pleaser.  You can also place an order now – we promise to get your order shipped out fast!
