Flavor Profile: Leather, Cinnamon Bark, Cooling
Ever wonder what impossibly large extra-dimensional backrooms taste like? This tea journeys through hallways of flavor, aging since 1998. Since this tea is from Liu Bao Town proper, the leaves come from the medium-leafed sinensis variety. The leaves are plucked, pan-fired, rolled, sun-dried, and then packed into bamboo baskets to age slowly. This process is celebrated in the tea with virtually no bitterness that carries creamy notes of cinnamon, sichuan peppercorn, and old leather while leaving a cool open body sensation that feels like a cat stretching in the morning after a restful slumber. Thank you, Micheal from Via Tempo for sharing this tea with us.
